Thank you to everyone who filled out the survey at the last meeting, it was very helpful in planning our Christmas party. I hope that the agenda for the evening sounds appealing to everyone.our next meeting is the members Christmas party on December 8 at 6:30 PM.
If you haven’t joined the club yet, now’s the time to do so! Benefits of joining the club…you receive a club beekeeper book containing a study outline to become a master beekeeper, and keep all of your notes together. You will get a mentor (if you would like one).you get to enjoy the Christmas party and summer picnic. All for only $15 a year, per household.
Now, about the Christmas party. The club will provide drinks and tableservice. Members are to bring a dish to share. Potluck dinner style! We will have musical entertainment provided by our own talented Kristi Orcutt and Harlan Williams. We will have a Chinese gift exchange. If you would like to participate, please bring a wrapped gift in the $10 price range. It does not have to be bee related. Then we will play a quick game called, two truths and a lie. This game is a fun way to get to know your fellow bee Club members a little better. You simply tell three facts about your self, and people try to gas which fact is a lie. Then, those that would like to,can play a game called left, center, right. It is a dice game – no skill required. We may play anywhere from 1 to 3 games. For each game, You will need 3 $1.00 bills. Of course those that don’t care to play, can always just socialize!
So, here is what you need to bring to the members Christmas party.
- A covered dish.
- A wrapped gift ($10.00)
- nine $1.00 bills.
I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the party. I will send this email again, closer to the date as a reminder.
