Thank you to all our customers, their kids, and grandkids for making 2013’s Kid’s Day in the Garden a huge success. Adults and kids alike had a wonderful time. We were very proud to provide this fun and educational experience for our areas kids.
Jonathan Austin was amazing.
If you have never seen Jonathan, do whatever it takes to do so. He was very entertaining. His juggling and magic are only surpassed by his wit. We also were joined by Nutsy the Richmond Flying Squirrels’ mascot, Chesterfield County Recycling Chesterfield Police department’s McGruff the Crime Dog, The SPCA’s with their Tail Wag’n Vehicle with adoptable pets, Richmond Beekeepers association, The Chesterfield Fire Department with a Fire Truck and Ambulance, and Broken Road Farm’s travelling petting farm.
As well as the above activities, kids were able to make their own terrariums, participate in a Safari Hunt, and throw bean bags. There were also many of our venders from our Farmer’s market on site to provide kids and adults with art, food and many other goodies.
Kids Day in the Garden 2013 was a great success! Thank you for attending!
